I've told this story before, but my friends and I rocked them. I had the huge mammoth pair on at central middle school in BR (RIP, that campus) and I was running to the office to turn in coke money that I was selling during PE in front of then Asst. principal Coach Cashio, and Principal Causey sitting on a bench outside and RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM, I stepped on a pant leg and fell face first into the concrete. The next year they banned all Jncos and any pants that were a certain width.

What year did you graduate hs?

Yes, unfortunately, but at least it was in the early 90's when they weren't as crazy as the ones in the op. They were more like these:

I grew up poor so I had 1 pair of shorts but I longed for a pair of Skunks in middle school.

I had some but they just looked like a standard issue pair of jeans except they had a gray stripe down the side.

Not all JNCO's had those huge legs.

Had to add this one.

Dude reminds me of a lot of the Louisiana ecstasy scene back in 2000.

I did, but I didn't wear any of the super ridiculous leg sizes … You could at least see my Doc or Vans toes..

I never wore the ridiculously sized ones but the ones with the 20" leg opening were the best.

I was more into Kikwear. Jncos were absurdly huge. I didn't wear anything bigger than a 28" cuff/opening.

Some of the most comfortable pants you'll ever wear. You could also say that about bell-bottoms except they were too tight in the thigh and hip area. Fat pants were like bell bottoms from the belt down instead of from the knee down.

I mostly wear shorts but when I wear jeans now I wear the Levis Carpenter jeans which are like kikwear but a little bit smaller.

I don't want to feel like my lower torso is being choked out, like those queers in their skinny pants.

Also, old-timey baws approve.

I wore jnco jeans from proabbly around 4th grade to about 6th or 7th grade. But I had normal jeans. They may have been slightly bigger than a relaxed fit style jean now, but not the insane stuff posted so far...
