I wore jnco jeans from proabbly around 4th grade to about 6th or 7th grade. But I had normal jeans. They may have been slightly bigger than a relaxed fit style jean now, but not the insane stuff posted so far...
The gigantic ones were more towards the tail end of the fad. That's when the goth kids started wearing them.

I'd say more so these kind of people. And mall goths I guess. And slipknot fans

The goths I knew in were in tight leather or regular black denim

I had JNCO’s but the best pair I had were Kikwears. They looked like regular jeans but could be unzipped to 42’s. I actually worked at The Verve, in the Esplanade mall, that sold all of these jeans. I was selling for Freebase society at the time and made a ton of “sales” working there.

You're probably about 5 years too young to remember them. When that fad fell off, it fell off hard.

If you ever went in one of these mall stores pre year 2000, you did.

I remember them well but it seems like they were popular with kids a few years younger than me. I don't remember people in my class wearing them.

Styles were more regional and took time to travel around back then. They were popular in my area from around 92-95 but I always see people on here referencing the late 90's whenever there's a JNCO thread.

Yes. Briefly.

and do you hope they make a comeback?

Not a chance in Hell.

I do miss some of my Adidas stuff though. And my Steve Madden platforms.

I also remember Z Cavaricci pants which were also ugly and Girbuad jeans. They were like $40-50 which was a shite ton of money for a pair of jeans

See, I'd never even heard of those until this site.

The internet is making everywhere the same.

Z Cavaricci's had these huge pleats and the vertical tag like below. Girbuads had a horizontal tag in about the same spot but otherwise just looked like regular jeans.

You vastly underestimate the level of comfort of a good pair of Adidas windbreakers, comrade.
