I know a girl who just turned 30. She’s still a virgin. Actually she’s completely psycho. One time she compared herself to the Virgin Mary.

Worst part is she’s with a friend of mine. Great guy the poor bastard. He’s a glutton for punishment.

When I was in high school/college I was very Catholic and planned on waiting until I was married. It was always the chicks that wanted to bang it out. I relented to the pressure.

I lost my virginity before I stepped foot in my high school. My wife and I both had our fun before we married and we still have our fun together today.

I did date a girl who was waiting to be married. Very cute and I respected her decision. She ended up deciding that she wanted her husband to be "pure" as well so she broke it off. Ended up marrying a very chubby guy.

The divorce rate is actually higher for people that live together before marriage.

I’m not sure the causal link here is as strong as you think it is.

If you don’t live together before marriage, you’re more likely to hold stronger religious values, making you less likely to consider divorce regardless of the strength or happiness in your marriage.

This statistic could easily just mean that couples who don’t live together until marriage have less of an inclination to consider divorce due to their beliefs.

I actually did. It was a choice I made. Definitely could have lost it in college but don’t regret it at all

Female sexual partners is directly related to divorce rate. The lower the amount of partners she has prior to marriage, the lower the divorce rate. 0 partners being by far the grouping with the lowest divorce rate.

This sounds like a TD study if I’ve ever seen one. Let’s focus solely on women and their sexual partners to determine how healthy a marriage is!

Even if this is real, this could be due to other factors. Mainly religious. I’d say a female with zero sexual partners prior to marriage is most likely to have a strong religious faith that would make her less likely to consider divorce, regardless of the quality of her marriage.

I've never been religious, so no. Had plenty of sex before marriage. However, I have a ton of close friends that did wait till marriage, and their marriages are still going strong. To each his own.

Maybe sex isn’t that high on the list when picking a lifetime partner. You ain’t getting much after you have kids anyway. The older you get the more you realize your life is about way more than sex, unless you’re a Neanderthal.

I genuinely don’t see how sexual compatibility could be considered a “minor” component in a healthy marriage. It doesn’t mean it’s the most important factor, but it certainly matters.
