Jam bands died in the early 2000s
Jerry dying was the beginning of the end. Trey being strung out on the junk was the nail in the coffin
That being said seeing Biscuits/Phish 2008 to now was a great time in my life

Saw Phish in Athens at the original Georgia Theatre in 1991. Didn't get the attraction then, don't get it now.
All I got from it was it was a place to smoke weed that nobody else cared about because they were all smoking too.

I saw "The Dead" at Bonnaroo one year. I believe Tre Aastasio played a set with "Dave Mathews & Friends" at that festival also. I believe it was 2004.

I wouldn’t go see either of them if they were playing down the street from me in their prime.
Also, music board.

Queen
I saw Queen at the river enter probably mid seventies. I saw a lot of concerts back then. My golf buddy’s dad worked one of the ticket takers. Worst concert I watched was Chicago. They almost put me to sleep with their music. Went to both concerts for The Rolling Stones at the assembly center. One of the best I can remember was Pink Floyd. I was laughing at my friend. During the concert they had an inflatable Pig go across the assembly center and when my buddy saw that he was in a trance and screaming. I’m pretty sure he took some acid before we went in

Phish at The Fox Theater in Atlanta in 1995. Also my first mushroom trip. I was basically frightened.
I was there. Alcohol was always my drug of choice. Great show. I was front row top balcony (mid-left). Small enough venue to bump into a bunch of friends.

Use to get my acid from a Dead Head! He would ask me to come Melt with him at a show. Nope, im good I will take my 1 or 2 drops on a sugar cube..this dude would drop 5 drops to start in his eyes. frick that!! Strongest acid ever. I have plenty of crazy stories from concerts and Raves and spring break over the years. Cindy was a crazy ride for sure!!
