No offense but you're a mother fricking moron. I've had dogs all my life, and this was always extremely common knowledge.

Throw in 4 more morons I guess.

to keep him mobile & happy. However, I know the difference between when a Vet is being genuine and when a Vet is pushing for a charge. In this case, I can say that we had another vet confirm the tests were unnecessary.

You’ve owned dogs so that qualifies you to say what diagnostic is needed? Right…

You’re full of shite

Yes and chocolate, but why would anyone think of feeding those to an animal?

Little does the algorithm know, we are actually having a coded conversation about rufies and fat chicks. Don't tell anyone.

Crap, FBI just texted.

My dog has eaten frozen grapes a couple of times cause my mom was ignorant but he puked them up immediately. My dog also ate rat poisoning one time it was the green type with "attractant". Thank God we had some peroxide on hand to induce vomiting. This was at my parents house out in the country Had to brush his teeth and give him charcoal. Happened Christmas afternoon luckily Walgreens was open. Scary time. He also ate half ounce of herb one time too. That was my fault. He is a trooper. The worst was he got after a skunk. He pinned the skunk in a ditch with riprap and I jumped to grab him. Sprained my wrist really bad. He got sprayed right in the face body. I got a little on me. I did all the tricks with him immediately. Still didn't completely get the smell out. I took a week off basically lived outside doing all the necessary stuff to get it off me. Finally went home an hour away from my parents house thinking I got all the smells out from me and him. Nope. That was a long hour drive in my pickup truck. At some point we both stopped smelling but it was burned into our noses. Was awful. However as much crap as he has gotten into he stayed by my side while I was having a seizure twice. He wasn't trained as a service dog but naturally had an instinct. He is a pointer and turns 8 this fall. I'd take a bullet for him. He knows that and he'd do the same.

What it boils down to is dogs can be dumb and shite heads, but they are all loving and caring... Except for obviously for pits, other terriers, and rotties that have been beaten.

Can be said humans are comparable in that last aspect. If a child is verbally or physically abused perpetually and surrounded by violence it can screw them up. Proper love and retooling of the brain and they get out of the wrong path. The older they get the more difficult it becomes.
I'm a believer that humans are pack animals. Together we are stronger.

not a response to previous post

quote:

I feed grape to my Lab and Golden Retriever for years before someone told me that it would kill them. Thank God no one told my dogs.

Many many years ago I didn't know this and fed my dogs grapes all the time. Never had an issue. Now I know, but my dog one time did steal a bowl of grapes off the counter and ate them while I wasn't home. I returned after many hours and she was fine and remained fine.

Also--the peroxide thing is real. I've had to do it several times .

Also--- SUGARLESS GUM is DEADLY for dogs.
