Not in the World Trade Centet but have a good friend who was at the Pentegon when it got hit. Fortunately, he was on the other side and was not injured but his description of what the atmosphere was like there was amazing. Very little panic and a lot of this is what we are trained to do.

I have heard the same thing. I know a guy whose sister was a staffer there. She told how surreal it was but echoed that it It was very calm and coordinated at the Pentagon

People barely had time to even acknowledge the first jet coming over the city, much less see people's faces in a plane that far away from the ferry. BS story is BS. French brothers were lucky to catch the video because they were already shooting the FD documentary.

Not only that, but the fact that they were able to react to where the plane was going to get that shot is amazing. If you notice in the video, the fire fighter looks the opposite way of where the plane was heading because the sound of the plane was probably miss-heard due to the echoing off of the sky scrapers.

The videos show that too. People walking out and rather calmly checking out the smoke.

I'd be moving a bit faster myself

The oddest thing about being in the city on that day was how calm most people were. The city was eerily quiet with thousands of people just walking in the middle of the streets and across bridges to get back home. Looking up and seeing occasional military aircraft as the only things in the air was very surreal too.
