I used to hang out with Vadal Alexander when we were younger. Played in the same youth football league too. Our moms used to work together. True story.

I'll bet we know the same people. A friend of mine was with Matt (former gee-tarist)whatever his name is this past weekend for the Mardi Gras ball in Mobile.
More than likely - I remember them getting all pumped up the week before for their appearance on the homegrown show on 97.9. They opened up for a shitty copy cat nu metal band at Kirks, nobody was interested. Two weeks later and 97.9 put them in regular rotation and started getting offers from national labels.

Yep, and since I live on the East Coast there are plenty of people who know who Tony Kushner is up here, he's one of the more famous Broadway playwrights around.
But back before he was famous, he was a 20 year old guy doing student plays at McNeese for kids. And so I can honestly say I played a lead male acting role under Tony Kushner - when I was under ten years old.
This little factoid has scored me numerous dates with women who enjoy stage plays. They tend to be a bit loose.

Hunter S. Thompson
This is who I was expecting when you said author. Any person crazy enough to shoot his ashes out a giant cannon in the Rocky Mountains has to be full of crazy stories.

I've got a really dark one with a very famous deceased author.
I like you Glass but GD I hate when people post cryptic shite like this for attention. Either share or don't post anything at all.

You were worried about sparing Hunter S. Thompson's reputation?

I had sexual relations with a little known 42 year old actress who later starred in the TV show "Nashville." And multiple posters here can corroborate that as fact

Kris Kristopherson
Pretty CSB
He flew helicopters for the oil company my grandpa worked for back in the day. He became a family friend. Until I was about 12, he would come visit once and year and tell us that my grandpa was inspiration for a few songs because of how mad he would get at his floor hands. Lol.
My grandpa told us that sometimes Kris would be stuck on the rig for a while to wait on the crew leaving to head back to land. He said he would often find him alone, hunkered down in some random space writing lyrics in his notepad.
