Didn't get an engineering job until 7 months after graduation.
Didn't have an internship in school (tried to get a few without any luck, was passed over on one because another guy had "interning experience").

Had gotten 7 full time offers by the time I accepted one. Probably did 35-40 interviews to get there.

Yep. I did two internships with the same oilfield chemical service company while at LSU. So, when my grad date was approaching , I was offered a position.
