Absolutely. Went with one girl and by the end of the night, I had three different ones lined up (no lie). One said no, the other one came and tried to snatch me up in a limo, and the other gave it up. Ended up dating the third girl for almost four years

Short and long answer: no.
My high school only had a senior prom. For the months prior to prom, I had been dating "Jane," the only legitimate OT-10 - both in personality and looks - of my life. Jane was objectively out of my league. I was aware of this fact, and obviously worked my tail off to try to get into her pants. By the time prom rolled around, I had put in the ground work. I thought all my time, effort, hard-earned money, etc. would pay off. Three days before prom, she broke it off.
With three days remaining, I turned to "Jill." Jill was a sophomore, had bleach blonde hair, good looking in that HS-trashy kind of way (as in, attractive because she was young, but would undoubtedly look like hell after a few hard years). When I picked her up, and when my mom snapped some pictures, she wore clear platform high heels - which she referred to as her "stripper shoes." Jill and I had a great time at prom, and I figured she was a lock at the after party. Jill ended up banging one (although I later heard it was two) other dudes at the after party.
Years later, Jill was in town and we decided to meet up. She was trashier, sadder and more tatted and pierced by then, unquestionably worn down by life, but she made up for prom then. I have not seen or heard from Jill since.

Didn't go to prom. My dates dad, who worked with my mom at the time, decided the week before prom he didn't want his daughter going to prom with a black guy.
Which is ironic because we were just going as friends, but she decided she wanted to hook up with me at a graduation party to piss him off.
