Last time I tried to go the gates were locked in the middle of the day.

Did Pickles shut it down?

Last time I thought to look over there (within the last couple weeks maybe) I think there were people out there.

Surprised that land hasn't been developed yet.

It floods and is in a terrible inaccessible location.

Anyone ever play the little Par 3 course in Alexandria? Bringhurst. I always thought the BR area could use a place like that...charge 5-10 bucks a round??

I know, right? Railroad tracks, overpasses, Ward's Creek (which is constantly full of trash), a view of the back of Lowe's, Section 8 housing, god-forsaken Siegen Lane (with right-out access only)...it's a real diamond in the rough.

That land is basically where all water drains to. She won't open it if the land is still wet... Probably just closed due to that. I wish Pickles did a better job of letting people know if it was open. There was one week I went 3 times and it was closed every time.

She needs to be able to put open status on phone. I basically call every time before I go and make sure she's there. Otherwise, it's likely closed.

No formal decision yet, but if they do, the range would still be open. They want to keep it mainly for a kinesiology class, but will keep it open to the public.

Went this morning, and they were operating fine. In fact, the driving range is getting repairs done.
