If you're not going to believe any witness statements from the bunker, then you should just admit that nothing will convince you of Hitler's alleged death of April 30th, 1945. There is no reason to debate if you're 100% committed to the conspiracy theories.

There is definitive proof Hitler died in the bunker. I've seen the forensic evidence and there is absolutely no refuting it. It is very cut and dried.
The problem that occurred causing all the conspiracy theories is that the Allies had half the evidence and the Soviets had the other half. There was a Cold War and both sides were to distrusting of the other to cross reference their evidence. The Soviets had the physical evidence and the Allies had the intelligence info and had custody of Hitler's MD, dental assistant and Dentist. The Allies also had his medical records, dental records and radiographs. ( Hiltler had extensive dental work and problems that were incredibly unique.) Neither side could prove anything without the other.
Thus both sides were uncertain as to Hitler's ultimate fate. So everyone was still looking at any lead just to be certain Hitler wasn't still around. Thus the FBI and KGB files during the Cold War.
When the Cold War chilled and both sides did a show n tell, it was clear Hitler was dead in the chancellery.
The History Channell knows all this yet still produced this intellectually dishonest show. They are just feeding on uniformed viewers. I will admit they duped me a few episodes until I did some research and discovered their dishonesty.

I think he probably did die in the bunker, but witness statements aren't evidence, or facts.
There is no reason to debate because you can't produce that evidence, and I couldn't dispute your findings if you did. I'm 100% into evidence and facts. I don't think there is any, which is why this is still a subject 70 years later. I do think the fact that there isn't any physical evidence could be very telling.

Wherever you went to law school, they failed you, baw. Witness statements are - by an order of magnitude, the most numerous and often the only bits of evidence to provide a complete picture of anything.
Are they facts? Of course not - witness statements and descriptions are notoriously unreliable and subjective - individually. However, the more you have of the same event, the more remarkably clear a picture you can get. Agendas don't matter at that point.
Why? Because conspiracies of silence are tough enough but doable. Getting everyone to agree on the same lie? That's nearly impossible.

I believe there's a material but still unlikely chance he made it out and to South America. Would be tragic if proven true.

Yeah, it kinda is, when you consider that the Russians supposedly had his body, but then said they didn't have any body they could say was Hitler, then supposedly dug up his body and others in 1970, but still no physical evidence exists?

They initially said he wasn't dead. Reportedly, Stalin flatly denied he was dead to Truman at Potsdam. But they secured remains they thought were his - dentist and dental assistant confirmed the jawbone remains were of Hitler and Braun.
Or they could have escaped via U-Boat to Argentina and lived full lives. I guess it depends on what you want to believe, doesn't it?

How much money would it have taken and how difficult would it have been to smuggle Hitler through Berlin in May of '45 to any other place on the planet? And once he got there (wherever!), he was almost dead already.
