Yes, very possibly.
Then again, the fossil record proves all life during the pre-Flood Realm man was proven to be much larger, while living much longer.
There are two distinctions of "Giants" to be considered:
1) Giants (as recorded in the Bible)
2) Titans of "myth"
(The latter is going to immediately be dismissed if not researched. So would other advanced theories on Titans and humongous "tree stumps" (see Mesas) that would make heads explode).
What also of the giant Dragons depicted in art by so many cross-continental cultures?
Just because some life has died out and gone extinct -- and "The Science" sez NEVER existed OR existed MILLIONS of years ago" -- it does not discredit the evidence and circumstantial truth of matters.

That is a convenient way to explain it. It does not look like 2007 pretending to be 1900. I've seen 2007 pretending to be 1900. It looks like 1900. Put it in a 2007 movie and ta-da!

If this interests you, you should Google Graham Hancock and go down that rabbit hole. He makes a compelling case for a relatively advanced civilization in the Americas that was wiped out by a meteor impact around Greenland 12,800 years ago that lead to catastrophic environmental events and an Ice age.
As for the giants I don’t find a civilization of them all that crazy of a concept. If the NBA and WNBA players got stranded on an island I’m sure future archaeologists would think they found a race of giants too.

I certainly believe there have been tall people have existed on this earth. There are people currently living who are seven feet plus and maybe even 8 feet.
The best evidence of a race of giants would be from Egypt where some evidence exists. You completely ruin a true inquiry into this subject by including a video purporting to show such a giant, which is verifiably false.

Check out this. Po Nagar in Vietnam. Look at those columns and buttresses. Said to be built in 700 AD. Compare this to other local architecture. This is unquestionably Greco-Roman and thus completely out of place according to history. But that's not the weirdest part. The weirdest part is this is right by the coast, if you venture on Google Maps to all around the nearby islands just miles or less away, you will find magnificent and legendary rock formations, arches, formed in geometric square grids with straight parallel lines, of the same rock this is carved from. Despite all the local legends that surround the islands, literally calling the place Giants Land, you are not allowed to consider the possibility of it being a bombed out ruin of the same civilization that was clearly here that built Po Nagar a mile away. You can only accept the scientific explanation that these rocks naturally stuck out of the sandy beach like this for some reason.

Many of the supposed giants were in the 7- foot range. People have existed that size for centuries.
