Did anyone enjoy their Thanksgiving meal with rinsed ice and Coke?

It was truly a delight that I shared with numerous family members.

Indeed! My grandmother's antique colander came in handy for the occasion.

I poured my cold drink directly onto my ice straight from my icebox. I don't rinse it.

Friend of mine didn’t have a turkey at his thanksgiving because his aunt returned it to the grocery store after mistaking the turkey neck that comes with the bird for a turkey penis.

I rinse mine then put them back in the freezer for 8 minutes to get a nice dusting of ice crystals. Best coke you ever drank.

Ah, the ole Roanoke Refreeze! Always a delight and truly a testament to one's sophistication!

should have kept it, it's considered to be an aphrodisiac, and a natural peptide, plus it produces a quite pleasant buzz, similar to that from taking an oxycodone
ETA: heard it from a friend

It works better if you don't use boiling water.

A question for my fellow beverage savants: do you use mineral water or volcanic spring water for your ice?
