Okay, let's talk about Urban Cowboy for a second...

1) Travolta was the absolute fricking worst in the role of Bud. Dude was uncomfortable to watch.

2) No fricking way...NO WAY...do you leave that hot POA Pam and her money for broke-arse Sissy.

3) Scott Glenn was creepy as frick in his role, but at least you knew that he could beat the shite out of Travolta...which made Bud beating Wes up all the more unbelievable.

Absodamnlutely! Gilley’s was hopping back in the day! Went with a bunch of friends and rode the bull. Busted my arse, but had a blast. Good friend smashed his hand on the mechanical boxing bag and cut it badly. Hellova night! It was better than the movie!!

Definitely pre any record deal. It seemed like they were just known as Ace in the Hole Band at the time. All I knew was they were “pretty good” and had no idea what they would turn out to be!

Whoa there now, Cue ball. Seems like someone had a bad review at the recent admin meeting. It's just a movie.

His uncle was the best character... Actor is Barry... Something. Was great in NCFOM.

Ive always thought that.. i never found Debra WInger attractive in UC, Officer & a Gentleman or anything else she did.. but Madolyn Smith was fire.. as i recall, she retired from acting and married a hockey player.

No, that’s the guy who set Bud up with the two chicks the first night he went to Gilley’s. He ended up being an old friend of Wes.

Guy that played Uncle Bob was also Tommy Lee Jones’ uncle in No Country for Old Men. Also was July Johnson’s sidekick in Lonesome Dove.

Correct.

Rummel, if I do see Major League, I'll pay attention.... Dumbass.

Fax from Bella.... Never mind the other remark. I'm really attracted to brains.

And Maurice Minafield in Northern Exposure. Man, when Uncle Bob's wife gives Bud his rodeo belt buckle it hits you right in the feels.

That house was perfect. Underneath a hi-line in a subdivision so new there wasn't any grass.
