Not even the two officers who are under constant death threats and had to move away under cover of darkness with police escorts?
good point. I do feel sorry for them. but not anyone from Sterling's side of things

I have thought this as well.
Why else would the cop on top of him flip off him like he did ?
Remember the FBI and DOJ are handling the investigation. BRPD is not going to jeopardize the case by releasing any info.

Zero of this matters. It would have been mentioned the NIGHT IT HAPPENED

So you have seen another angle that shows his right hand at the time of the shot? post the link, I'd like to see it.

A buddy of mine at work told me last week that Sterling fired a shot. His brother in law or something is supposedly close to the investigation. I just blew it off thinking he was full of shite.

This is one of those facts that will be relatively easy to prove during the investigation.
Guarantee you that if that is proven during the investigation, the blm sheep will claim its fake. No matter if the proof is indisputable..

which is exactly why if true it would have came out immediately. The backlash of not releasing that would be huge.
"Oh thats convenient. He fired a shot huh? NOW you wanna say he fired a shot? bullshite"
^^ is exactly how that will go, and honestly, as much as I think they are the dumbest of the dumb, on that particular point I wouldnt blame them.

The sound of gunfire is likely muffled or changed by the movement of the officers bodies between the weapon and the cellphone audio microphone. I'd imagine if he would have got a shot off, there would have been more panic fire once the officer rolled off top and the other officer likely fires as well. I am not of the opinion he got a shot off...nor should he been able to....they identified the threat and neutralized that threat effectively....
One thing I haven't heard mentioned that is obvious to me and anyone else that has had to fight to control someone: the Alton defenders are quick to say that two officers were on top of him and shouldn't have needed to shoot him because the video is clear! What's clear to me is the relation of his right shoulder and right side to the bumper of the car. The mounting officer had no room to leverage that arm. Alton had the advantage of lateral movement from his back to do as he wished with his right arm, as he was below the bumper. The mounting officer knew it as he attempted to use verbal commands to persuade Alton to stop reaching....you can hear it in his voice that he did not want it to end this way...(stop!, I swear to God, unintelligible) this is coming from a person recognizing a threat, knowing the force continuum progresses to deadly force and is not wanting to do that....anyone that has been in a negative position with life/death consequences knows that feeling....in your head, you are saying, please stop your actions, I do not want to shoot you...but, you know if you do not progress and stop the threat he will hurt/kill you or someone else. It's a fight that you CANNOT lose...the cost is too great

The coroner's report will tell the tale. If his gun was fired in his pocket, he would have a slight burn and/or gunpowder residue on his upper thigh if not an actual gunshot wound.

3rd shot definitely sounds different when the video is played throughout and is slowed down. It could mean that Sterlings chest muffled the shot? I also would think that if Sterling had fired a round the public would have already been nofitied to keep the peace a little. Even if that was the case, a lot of IGNORANT people would STILL PROTEST. SAD indeed.

What if he had a bullet hole in his pocket?

Did the cops bodycams actually come off of their shirt or were they dangling? They will be very telling if anything merely for the audio itself.

My thoughts exactly. How long did it take before they admitted they found Michael Browns fingerprints inside the officer's vehicle and other evidence that proved the shooting was justified? Not until after the DOJ and FBI had concluded their investigation. The BRPD cannot confirm or deny the presence of this evidence until after the feds are done.

If so, that totally vindicates the officers.
Even if he didn't fire, I don't think they have enough to actually charge the police officers with anything.
Just like Ferguson, the violent protesters that want a race war won't listen to the facts of the case when its presented. They've already tried and convicted the cops in their mind.

Not really.
The cops would've had a perfect opportunity to defuse the entire situation if they had evidence like this. It would've been a no brainer to present that evidence and prevent civil unrest.

Like any of the unrested morons care about facts. You're giving these people way too much credit.

Heard the same thing last week and had the same reaction. Tale was that there were powder burns on Sterling's leg. Only time will tell if it was legit or if the guy was full of shite. Didn't figure it was worth repeating on here until I saw this thread, the guy who told me is usually pretty reliable but I got the impression that the info was at least 3rd hand, so take it for what it's worth, not much.

I'm sure there are plenty that would ignore it, but every little bit helps.

Huh? They are totally vindicated in my eyes. Had to explain this crap to my 10-yr old bc she has been listening/hearing stuff on news etc... Her response was "why didn't he listen to the police officers?"
Complete NON-issue as to if he fired his gun or not.
10 year old can figure this crap out...
