Everyone is complaining about LSU’s alert system not working or sending out texts. Seems like it worked fine for me. And of course like usual Tigerdroppings broke the news. This thread was up the moment the warning was sent out.

The alert system should be used for trigger warnings not this bogus stuff.

My point was you never know what could happen. Armed Robbery, Mass shooting , terrorist type incident...who knows.
My point to that poster was of basic security info that is good stuff to practice, just in case.
I make it a point to try and do the things, that the security professional pointed out to the poster, on a fairly regular basis. By doing this it helped my brother-in-law and I deter what was almost assuredly going to be a robbery/armed robbery of a chinese restaurant years back.
