despite becoming a hermit, Howard Stern finally got Covid last week

This dude has been completely off the deep end for 3+ years now, living in intense fear of COVID. It has actually been quite hilarious to see the threads here and on X about it.
Well, weirdo got COVID anyway. (duh)

Everyone missed the main point and efficacy of masks. It’s to keep YOU from spreading germs to others.

I wonder if when he had it he ever thought to himself "you know this isn't that much worse than a cold" like almost everyone else that's gotten it in the past year. So he's been living in fear for three years over something that made him feel bad for a couple days.

You sure about that? And aren’t they not very useful in doing that either? We could also just, you know, stay away from others when you’re sick and have symptoms.
Also, comparing a surgeon operating on someone within open wounds in a sterile environment to someone with a head cold is hilariously stupid.

What an idiot. That vaccine and all the boosters and the constant masking still didn't prevent him from getting the dreaded China flu.
Yet, he still wants to thank the people who created the ineffective preventative.
