I know some people will say he got off easy but he didn't. He got exactly what he deserved. He was convicted, he spent time in prison and then he died at a young age! The tax payers have been saved millions.

His soul is eternally damned.

God bless his victim's families.

Over/Under 1 month until bereaved family members surface to sue DOC for mistreatment or some other nonsense.

You don't know how true this is.

Yes I would say it was more everyone was paranoid (especially females and rightfully so). With each killing the more and more paranoid the whole city got to between all misinformation being given (white male with white truck) and what was actually taking place I would say the whole city was pretty much on edge during that time.

I had a friend held at gun point by the police for fricking a girl in the backseat of his truck parked out at Whiskey Bay. I'd say panic is a pretty generous way to describe it.

In 2004, he was sentenced to death and has been on death row at Angola since then.

It's ridiculous it takes that long to execute someone.

i was at LSU from 2000-2003. I was nervous as a male from all the females being so scared, i was afraid i was going to get shot just walking behind some girl. it was chaos. I pretty much figured out half my professors HAD to be the serial killer.

Interesting. I don't think I heard anything about it until well after he had been caught.

My gf at the time worked in the life sciences building at the same time Yoder got nabbed.

It was creepy thinking he may have been eye balling her, and that she could have been one of his victims.

I was packin the whole time. I wanted to be the one to murder that guy so freakin bad.

One of the wrst human beings alive. Imagine that this guy ran around our community for that long and seemingly in my circles. Like a lot of people in BR, I had weird connections to the case:

1. My wife grew up with, was good friends and neighbors with Randi Mebruer, an early victim. They grew up together, talked at the bus stop together every day.

2.I grew up with, was friends and went to school with the husband of Gina Green.

3. I saw Pam Kinamore daily when she dropped her kid off at Parkview Baptist.

4. I have had business dealings with the family of Dene Colomb (post-murder).

I'm glad he never paid a visit to my house. frick that guy, I hope his death was painful and he felt like his life was meaningless.

During the DC sniper I remember being paranoid because there were rumors that they were traveling down the east coast and possibly through Alabama. The fact that there was a known killer in BR with no real prospects of him stopping would be incredibly nerve wracking.

I was at LSU too when DTL was on the loose. It was a fricked up time. Lots of girls were scared. Lots of guys (me included) went out of their way to watch out for female friends.
