What benefit does a 10 year old bring to this? She was 9 at the incident. I've tried to exam a child that young before and it's extrem

She has no idea what is going on. Had Chauvin sat there with his mask off and not stood up she wouldn’t have recognized him.

The defense can't go too hard on a 10 year old. This witness, and the one who went before her, are meant to stir emotion among the jury.
The defense's case lies with what unfolded before any of the witnesses arrived.
