This guy is a strong witness. Will be interesting to hear the cross.
The people on HLN have said the same thing 37 times so far and each time Nelson has ripped their testimony to shreds.

That is an interesting graphic. Makes it look like he was almost kneeling on his head with his face flat in the ground

He just said the knee was to the back of the neck... I thought they were arguing the knee was on the side of the neck... Must have switched strategies again.

Yea, they had a motion this morning from the defense to not allow this additional use of force expert. The judge, clearly, ruled against that motion.
That's a bold move
If Nelson can the two experts to disagree on one or two things then you can pretty much throw out their testimony because he'll argue to the jury that even their own experts can't agree on proper force in some situations.

When does the defense get to start calling witnesses?
When the prosecution rest and I expect that to be this week. I think it would probably be by Wednesday.

Mr. Floyd does not appear to be objecting to being in police custody...

He just messed up, Nelson is going to get him on “him offering alternatives.” If one commits a crime and is being arrested, they don’t get to offer alternatives to riding in the back seat of the squad car. That is standard procedure for good reason. I do believe however he is making a good case of why the force was excessive given the threat Floyd posed.

I think this is the states last witness.

He doesn't object to being in police custody. He just objects to being in the car that will take him to booking

So please don't pay attention to what your eyes and ears say.
He said " thank you" for being taken out of the police car like that changes the whole scope of the trial.

If that is the best they have then the defense should just rest....

Maybe its just me but does it seem that the judge has been 1 sided when making ing rulings in the case such as Jury sequestered, Hall testifying, a new 2nd teacher testify to previous testimony. It seems as though he is leaving himself wide open for a appeal if Chauvin is found guilty.

Denying change of venue and jury sequestering are huge in my opinion.

So now this law teacher is testifying on medical situations?
