I would imagine so. It's wild that they're not showing them on camera and not revealing their identities. Not sure if this is more common practice than I realize, but this is the first time I've seen it.

Where in the report do you find “lethal dose of fentanyl”
But perhaps it's right next to the word "asphyxia" that you've been crying about.

I hope the jurors don’t get caught up in the hysteria of it and the pressure that a potential juror on the fence is on...
Voting guilty to vote guilty so as to not have to live with the notion that you did it just to not have the cities burn to the ground
That type of person shouldnt be on a jury. Your decision should be in a vacuum.

That's easy to say but there is a lot of pressure. I've been on a jury on an officer involved shooting that was highly televised. Being escorted in tunnels in and out of court everyday and the protesters have an effect on you. We had a couple weak people who wanted to give in but ultimately chose logic to make their decision.

Are they sequestered?
No
didn't they say the jury will be sequestered during deliberations when that starts?
pretty sure that'll hurry along any potential verdict
whichever side is "losing" in the jury room will flip just to stop sleeping in a hotel room and get back home

I've watched a few high profile trials off and on and the jury is never shown.

I think almost everyone is in agreement that DC acted professionally and within his training through 98% of the incident. Now did he probably kneel on him for approximately 2 minutes too long, yes. However, it’s hard to send someone to prison for following training and possibly holding the restraint for a fraction too long.
Agree.
Floyd died from an overdose or excited delirium. If they want to punish Chauvin civilly or administratively for how he handled it...fine. but going after him criminally is wrong.
In the end, it was these poor decisions that killed Floyd:
1) passing a counterfeit bill
2) drug use
3) lying to police about not being on drugs
4) resisting
If Floyd had just told officers he had ingested drugs and was in distress then agreed to sit in the police car waiting for EMS...he would still be alive.

His panic and hysteria was all a big distraction to attempt to ditch his drugs. In the video he drops a white bag of something. Happens in jail. A career criminal would have tried this technique and a veteran cop like DC would have known what he was trying to do

This is probably the least wild part of the process.
Could imagine what their families would be putting up with from both sides during the trial?

Yea fair enough. As I said, it's probably just the first time I've seen it.

And if this jury finds Chauvin not guilty or anything 'unacceptable' let's see how long the press keeps them anonymous.
My bet would be some activist journalist would out or leak the id of jury members they thought of as racist enablers or racists.

If they prove that Chauvin attended training where he was instructed NOT to put your knee to the back of someone’s neck then he’s screwed. Then it would come down to whether his knee was on the back or neck.
Posted on 4/5/21 at 9:51 am to McLaggen
No, it would come down to the ultimate question of whether Chauvin/the knee caused the death. If they can’t prove causation beyond a reasonable doubt, none of this will matter

The prosecution should just hire you right now
You have this wrapped up

This guy wasn’t even an attending physician when Floyd died.
