Well they've got a built in clientele who could use major dental work. I hope they take government benefits.

What is the big deal? It isn't like a WalMart cashier will be performing oral surgery on you.

When I was little, I used to go to a dentist at Sears.

They already employ optometrists and pharmacists. Is this really that hard to understand?

No doubt that it is a good business model, especially with the walk-inS. I wonder how much they will get paid? Dentists normally make bank.

The couple that bought the Pennington house on Highland owns the dental chain that operates inside Walmarts already.

Will they be WalMart employees or independent (just renting space)?

This is a net good for society. A lot of people will be getting earlier dental care that otherwise would not.

I don't think it's legal for physicians to be employed by wal mart. They will just rent the space and equipment like the optometrists and keep their fees. Probably will be geared towards private pay individuals and will be a little cheaper than private practices and make it up on volume.

I imagine the pay percentage will be that of what the average pharmacist makes at walmart compared to private practice.

Total misconception. Dentists mismanage their money more than any other doctor out there.

They used to own. Now it's owned by Heartland Dental, a corporate dental company. Selling it is how he made so much money.

The Wal-Mart hookers are not going to be happy about this new competition for oral work.
