Demand for Balenciaga plunges after ‘racist’ sweatpants outrage

Although there are plenty of white trash running around with sagging pants, so I'm not sure you could make the argument that ghetto trash own the look How stupid do you have to be as designer to even think this product was a good idea, let alone actually produce it?

Since when is fashion appreciation racist? Is it racist for a black person to wear velcro sandals and socks like a white middle-aged midwesterner?
It's like the people getting offended at other women honoring Asian culture wearing a kimono. FYI, it's usually not Asian women mad about it. It's white women.

I obviously don't think it's actually racist. It's closer to cultural appropriation if anything, but like I said in the rest of my post, I'm not sure that black people own the sagging pants look.
