Suspending one of two routes does not equal no longer flying there. They have effectively cut flights to Brussles in half, though.

lol, just look at the brussels airport and I understand why. One of the bad guys worked for the airport. And had a very bad record. And the airport didn't check. And they're refusing to check anyone else. And the Brussels police are about to strike. It's all fricked

No longer flying there? They're suspending one of two routes. Certainly there will be a drop in tourists travelling there from the US after the bombings so this is likely a good business decision.

The don't care if the timing is wrong or not. Air France workers go on strike several times a year. They just had a strike recently.

Airlines cut routes all over the US after 9/11 because of the massive drop in flyers. So they certainly did cut routes to NYC.

Probably due to the reports of estimated 50 ISIS supporters currently working at the airport is various jobs. Not ISIS members, but supporters that could go rouge. Until they are weeded out, I wouldn't want my flights going there either.
