In addition to having two different recon missions flying through #Delta tonight (@53rdWRS & @NOAA_HurrHunter) the KBRO radar is also catching the edge of Delta on reflectivity. Looks to be moving nearly due north now w/ the NW eyewall still looking pretty robust. LINK

That rotation has held together better than any I've seen from a hurricane this season. It may not stay on the ground, but it is more than a spin-up.

Maybe a mile as the crow flies. I'm not a fan of having tornado warnings, and then the rain stops all of the sudden.

You can clearly see the turn on that radar gif.

I’ll be out of power up here in Kolin La, Pineville/Alex area, but I will say the Euro had this thing pegged from the get go.

Now east please. Not a lot but some. I’m not greedy.

I'd be surprised if that tornado warning isn't extended. If it isn't, anyone in that area needs to keep an eye on that band.

Newest UKMET model brings Deltas center of circulation muuuch closer to Lafayette on this run. In line with Crowley and then Lawtell

42002 gusts up to 91 mph (SW of eyewall). 180 miles away, Buoy 42395 (NE from 42002) is at 45 mph.

Two planes in the storm and one on its way. 950 mb was measured at bear the center.

What’s the conversion from knots to mph.

It expired and was replaced with a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. Definitely worth watching, though.

I’m pretty sure Michael was like 943 or 948 or something and was one of, if Not lowest pressures of all time at landfall
