This answers a lot of questions about your idiotic posts.

quote:

The four counts cover murder twice, so it's double jeopardy if he's sentenced on all four counts

This case had multiple issues of dispute, including the charges, that went all the way to the Indiana Supreme Court. Do you really think Andrea Burkhart know more about Indiana state law than the Indiana Supreme Court.....or, are you starting to realize that she is a huckster who peddles nonsense conspiracy theories to idiots without critical thinking skills on YouTube for money?

One of the girls mentioned a gun in the SnapChat footage, and there was also reported to have been a sound that appeared to have been a cocking gun in the video as well.

How does this tie anything to Richard Allen?

quote:

Ballistic experts testified the tool markings on the .40 round found at the murder scene were consistent with those made by rounds cycled through Allen’s .40 firearm.

This is “iffy” science at best. They compared rounds that were cycled through firing to the round that they found that wasn’t fired because they couldn’t get the marks by just ejecting the round.
quote:

A witness testified that she saw a muddy, bloody man matching Bridge Guy’s general description walking along the road near the murder scene around the time of the murder.

The one that saw the guy from 3 feet away, that at one point was muddy, at another point was bloody, but was never muddy and bloody? Maybe

quote:

So, we know what the murderer was wearing.

I disagree that we know 100% that the bridge guy was Allen. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t. But there’s no way you get a conviction without the confessions, honestly specifically the van confession.

ETA: this isn’t the Scott Peterson case where you have circumstantial evidence and also a motive, weird actions afterwards (lying, hair change, cash, driving South toward the border). Without the confessions, you have none of that, basically you have a guy admitting to being there, and he owns a gun that is the same caliber of a bullet that was found near the scene.

Some accusations of misconduct in this case have emerged. In a nutshell, someone in the prison sent letters to the DA implicating others in the murder of the two girls, providing information that only someone involved in the killings would know. It appears those letters and that information was not forwarded to the Defense team and this is a violation. We'll see where this goes.

Was Richard Allen in prison at the time?

I understand needing to hand stuff over to defense, but I am more wondering about the letters knowing something only killer would know aspect (if true and if very specific details of murder unknown to public at the time).

EDIT: It seems to be this one alleging that the owner of property told another inmate while in prison later in 2017 about using box cutter to murder them and also trying to move Libby’s body later which is something defense pushed during trial. https://fox59.com/news/former-delphi-murders-suspect-made-detailed-confession-to-killings-attorneys-say/

Guy then died in 2022? I don’t see how this doesn’t allow Allen to be freed unless the police have insurmountable evidence it wasn’t him.

Did they ever take DNA from Ron Logan? I googled this morning after reading the article you linked and I read they searched his house, but I didn't see a mention of DNA collection. There are a few articles out there where ex-girlfriends and people who knew Ron were saying they thought he did it. One ex-girlfriend said she knew it was him when she saw the snapchat video.

If it turns out that it is him, what an embaressment for the DA. Hopefully someone from law enforcement/DA takes an objective look at all this and doesn't let hubris get in the way.

Allen dirtied things up by his admissions. I wonder how those will play into this.

Full Bridge video

Somebody appearing to be associated with Richard Allen's defense leaked the full bridge video today. Its 43 seconds long and shows Bridge guy closely walking behind Abby. Abby whispers to Libby filming asking something to the effect if he is still there. It also sounds like Abby says something like "that'd be a gun". You clearly hear "Guys....down the hill". Not sure why this wasn't released in its entirety from the get go.

Was always curious if Allen’s wife knew he was at the crime scene for all those years before he was picked up. New video shows she knew he had been on the trail that day but didn’t know he was actually on the bridge.

So what's the most up to date info on this trial? I assume it's still going on?

The bridge video a few posts up is eerie. That's the first time I've seen the actual, whole thing. Crazy/sad that those girls were killed not long after that was taken.

Richard Allen was sentenced to 130 years. He was moved to Pendleton Correctional, a max prison in Indiana.

His defense has apparently began the groundwork to file an appeal. I guess they’ll introduce another crazy theory, outdoing the Odinism ritual killing theory.

His interrogation tapes with ISP are on YouTube. He really comes off as a smug, sawed off smartass
