Al gore would call those numbers fuzzy math

I can assure you there is nothing fuzzy it's rock solid. If you are in Oakdale go take a look.

You have managed to fail ethics, statistics, and logic all in one sentence. I wouldn't have believed it without seeing it for myself.

Or you work at the optometry capital?

I really can't comment on that simply because I am not informed enough on their training. The only reason I came into this thread was I am sick and tired of medicine saying the only way to patient care is their way when it's simply not true.
What makes it worse is it is ALWAYS the same argument no matter who is asking for what or what they are asking for.
I am dead serious when I ask this going back over 50 years I can find no evidence that a non MD Scope expansion caused harm to the public. I certainly can't find where the legislature had to undo an expansion due to public safety. Can you?

Recap for any newcomers who find this lovely 100 page thread
1. SB 187 unsafe
2. Far less training
3. No medical school
4. Costs likely to not improve

For real is there an optometry capital in Oakdale ?
Posted on 5/24/16 at 11:50 pm to LATigerdoc
For once research something that doesn't come from the AMA.

Did u read the whole thread? I feel like u missed out
Posted on 5/24/16 at 11:51 pm to Da Hammer
A lot of us are not Ama proponents
Posted on 5/24/16 at 11:52 pm to Da Hammer
What percent of optometrists shoot lasers?
Posted on 5/24/16 at 11:53 pm to LATigerdoc
No I didn't I read a few pieces here and there. It's 99 pages if I had time I would have been here more I don't.
I have no idea how you manage to find time to do all this posting and study/practice the amount of time you spend here is amazing.

I am not sure of the number that use lasers. I would think over 50%.
