I don't see any issue as long as you are sure your connections are sealed and not leaking any propane into your house.

Dump water around valves. If anything bubbles, you have a leak.

Should be able to smell the odorant

I feel like a dumbass, but going read predictions is no different than shooting craps at this point. One says icy slush the other 7-8 inches.

What’s the opinions on the Prairieville area?

Hit the connections with some soapy water and make sure you don't see bubbles.

Soapy water in a spray bottle. Spray all fittings on the tank and the heater. If it bubbles, there is 100% a leak.

Mr Buddy heaters are 100% efficient with built in oxygen sensors. About as safe for indoor use as anything.

I think i read this on here years ago but its one of the best tips for us in S Louisiana.
Set your dishwasher and washing machine to delay start during the coldest hours of the morning. I usually stagger them. It will draw a significant amount of water to keep it moving in the lines and i dont have to get out of bed.

It's currently a beautiful 70 degree day in Lake Charles. Haven't been keeping up. Is it still a good possibility LC will be snowed in Tuesday?

How many people here have cut their grass today like many do before a hurricane? My neighborhood is buzzing with mowers and leaf blowers today. I guess a clean lawn makes better looking snow angels. LOL

I loved Enzo. Dude had more natural charisma than the rest of the roster combined. Still hope they'll bring him back in some capacity.

In some areas I believe it's actually illegal to put propane bottles in your house. Also, I'd imagine that's a major hazard just by way if it had a leak or something.

I'm going to get some monitors for mine to make sure nothing is being gave off I can't sense.

Isn’t the issue not so much the heater but the bottle of propane in the house? Not saying you have that setup, but I assume people will try to do that.

Mr buddy heaters use a small camping propane bottle. I used it in 2021 Texas snow storm when we lost power and it was single digits outside. It kept our master bedroom at about 62 when running. I put two battery powered carbon monoxide sensors in the room for safe measure also, and didn’t run it while we were sleeping.
