Snowing sideways uptown NOLA

White out conditions

Saint Charles itself is now starting to accumulate snow. An hour before there was just mild accumulation on side streets. But the avenue is now covered and no visible tracks.

Two dogs loving it. One dog staying on the patio as much as possible. Absolutely dumping snow right now

Anyone worried about their gutters holding all this snow?

Should be ok with that. This snow is not heavy enough.

This has been nothing but snow for me. I've never experienced that before honestly. Usually it's sloppy with ice all accumulated, trees leaning, branches snapping like crazy, etc. this is just really nice pure dry snow.

I’ve walked all around my house and down the street. Even with over 6 inches on the ground the trees are holding nothing. Every time the wind blows it’s a whiteout condition.

Ryan Hall just showed a road grader plowing I10 in Lafeyette.

Can't imagine getting this amount of snow without plows and salt, may the Force be with you, baws.

I walked outside 30 minutes ago to take some video.
Two inches at least on the ground where I walked.

Just looked out and my footprints are completely gone. In 30 minutes.
That’s how hard it’s snowing.

Crazy shite.
