Once in a lifetime I'd say.

Up here we've only had a few inches this year. Cold but bone dry.

Figured the concrete would be cool enough to stick by now. Guess all that sun warned it up

Woke up about an hour ago and looking at the weather for you folks in LA.

Blizzard Warning? Do I need to go back to bed? I don’t think we’ve had Blizzard Warnings in KY since the winter of 1977-78.

Down here for sure. But any snow that may melt will turn to ice tomorrow morning and Thursday morning. We are not prepared for that. It will be nuts…

Yea that blizzard warning looks nuts. Watch out for drifts with that. I doubt you'll get the 15-20+ foot drifts we get but even decent sized ones are a bitch

You’re going to have to be a little more specific here. What the hell is a drift?

I’ve been through huge snow drifts while growing up in Michigan. Those down here don’t know much about that.

I’ve already got what seems like foot high drifts around my house.

So the issue there is just being stuck in the house, if they get too high?

Wind blows the snow around and it piles up in certain spots.

How could you forget about the blizzard of 93?

"Yes, Kentucky experienced a blizzard warning in 1993 due to the "Storm of the Century" which brought heavy snowfall and blizzard conditions to the eastern and southeastern parts of the state between March 12-14, 1993; this storm is often referred to as the "Blizzard of 1993" in Kentucky"

Between 5-8 inches. That’s a very rare amount for down here. But travel wise there worst is yet to come.
