Sure they're declining. Any specific areas you're interested in?

I think Watson and Denham springs markets will decline. It's almost a bubble, considering how poorly constructed and laid out their neighborhoods are.

People are no longer paying significantly less to live out there and deal with traffic, subpar infrastructure, low building code standards, and trashiness that places like Zachary, Central, and prairieville have less of a problem with.

Livingston Parish will decline big time when suburban Baton Rouge's schools get isolated/segregated from north Baton Rouge's.

Paul, are you bullish on the Central real estate market?

Watson never materialized into what I thought it would back in mid 2000's or so, especially after Katrina. They built a few neighborhoods here and there, but it just seems like a dead or stale area. Central seems to be doing just fine, as is Zachary.

Yes, very bullish. Especially with that thruway and thriving school system.

The thruway is awesome. It's almost like an interstate but hardly anyone is on it.

The peak is in for real estate. Should bottom out 2033 or so. Hang on for a wild ride.

I believe it, market is gonna tank when the baby boomers start putting their old, un updated, houses on the market. Gonna be alot of places to buy when they die off.

The lack of updating houses is hurting a lot of the older homes in and around white oak landing and lake at white oak.

Yup. The asking price for those homes are out of the range that makes sense for anyone to buy and renovate it themselves... If you can strike a good deal, I think it's a nice area
