Been in that situation before. Solved it in a very immature way. Starting at 8am I would bang pots together very loudly every 30 minutes. all day, all weekend.

yep, when you leave the house for work, leave a shitty base-filled song on repeat all day at volume they can hear. A few days of that, and they'll get the picture.
