At least in my world in makes zero sense to be working. Since I home office, probably spent an hour per day with phone/email every day but Christmas.

Going to make a few calls today, and maybe some paperwork just to keep ahead but that is all until Tuesday. Monday wouldn't be productive either.

Been the only one in the office for a while. I’m sure a few millineals will roll on at their normal 9:00am -9:30am start time tho. Lazy fricks.

As someone who ran companies I never understood why other businesses didn't do what I did.

I always saw holidays that fell on a mid day week or whatever a chance to give employees a free perk. No one would be working today. Probably tomorrow either. Maybe a check in staffer but even then I'd probably make it myself and do whatever needed to be done.

Same as 4th of July etc. You as a boss should know your business well enough to know when you can do that type thing. I get some industries you can't do that but office type work? Please.

Has been since the 23rd. We had Christmas eve and Christmas off and New Years day. The day after Christmas was much worse than today. Good amount of people came back today.

I get in at 630-7 everyday. Born in 91 and I am here before 95% of the rest of the company. The only people who come in after 830 are boomers. Most of the millennials are in before 8.

This, and they all leave at 4-4:30.

They are also always the first to any leftover holiday food in the break room.

How many Boomers do you work with? The youngest ones are like 57.

I’ve implored my executives to stay home until 10 o’clock. A little late start never hurt our bottom line.

Only 4 of us working today. It's been quiet here for the past couple of weeks, which is the norm. I'm kind of in between projects so don't really have a lot to do unless I get feedback from my last project that requires follow. That's doubtful, but I need to be here today and tomorrow just in case.

Sucks I gotta wait until 2 for the shitty Birmingham Bowl. It is supposed to rain all day here in Bham, so that should be a boring, sloppy game to watch.
