Tough call. Lots of emotions when it comes to little ones. I have two 15 month old twins in daycare and know I would absolutely LOSE my shite if I found out they were doping my girls up for just about any reason, much less for something like this. I would probably be the one looking at jail time.

I do agree with this. I mean, there was the potential for a lot of things to happen, but they didn't and it's not like melatonin is that bad. She could have given them something worse to make them sleep.. It is irresponsible as hell, but not 21 years in prison irresponsible.
I would think 6 months behind bars and 2 years probation would send the message.

I would lose my shite too. But I would be satisfied with 5 years in jail. That's already a life ruiner.
It wasn't even narcotics. It was melatonin.

This is a fair point
Although I am expecting my first and we're on waiting lists for day cares and they are so absurdly expensive.
Child care prices lead to shite like this happening.
