That very same thing could be said for those whining to take them down.

Exactly. It could, but the majority on this board like to whine about them coming down, so I am addressing them. We know that the wants screaming to pull them down are whinny bitches. I'm just pointing out that the ones crying about them coming down are acting no different.

Just think how much money Mitch could raise from Private donations to help the black community considering he was able to raise a million dollars to move rocks. If he got $1,000,000 for rocks would he be able to raise $100,000,000 to actually help black children in this city?

Democrat leaders in this city doesn't want to help them. They would have done so a long time ago if they did.

I agree. That's why I think it's insane they took them down. Most of the 'offended' have lived in NOLA for decades yet never once felt offended until the masses started telling them so.

On the flip side, as a white guy that grew up in NOLA I've never looked at those statues and felt entitled or supreme. They were just landmarks of the city to me.

Very simple minded of you. Guess some folks just care about history and not trying to erase it because of "feeling offended"

So that I don't spend my days worrying over an inanimate object, so I'm simple minded?

So the removal of a statue erases all history from existence? Man those are some powerful statues.

I feel sorry for you.

And another one!

#NOPD is investigating a shooting in the 4100 block of So. Carrollton. Initial report is one male victim was transported to the hospital.

If we take down the statues the city will come together. Crime will drop. The best and brightest will come back - mitch the bitch.

Anyone else see his tweet touting Nola as one of the best cities for recent grads? yeah. OK mitch

Now classified as a homicide.

Meh... at least today they found the dead body in a trash can. I would say that the criminals are cleaning up their act.

Next thing you'll tell me is Wal Mart patrons are returning shopping carts to the cart return. Only then will we know if Mitch's plan is working
