People aren't getting married anymore. Alfred Angelo shuttered its doors last year in the weirdest store closing ever. Now David's Bridal.

They ought to get into the BDSM supplies market:

David's Bridles

Won't hardly have to change the logo.

Between dresses and wedding rings. Has been the longest running scam in America.

My wife bought a second-hand wedding dress for like $125.

When she told me that's what she wanted to do, I think I shed a tear of pride.

It looked great too.

I'd love to buy just 1 tux and interchange the vest/tie, but now every tux has to be different or groom wants suits.

People realizing it's dumb to spend 40k on one party when you don't even own a home or have any savings.

Parents realizing it's dumb to blow your retirement to throw a huge wedding bash. Money down the toilet.

Or a tack shop. I like that idea better.

My wife bought a white dress for $20 when we got married.

The big blowout wedding shite is crazy.

Yep. There’s a difference in people not getting married as OP put it and people not throwing big weddings.

My generation went through too many divorces so we are talking our kids into small inexpensive weddings.

My father-in-law offered to pay us off so that we wouldn't have a big wedding. My wife wouldn't take the bribe.

I still wish we had spent the money on a small wedding and coke and ho's.

These logical fallacies that are born out of outdated business models always crack me up

You see the headlines all over the place. "Millineals are KILLING the xxxx industry!!"
"Millineals arent doing xxxxx anymore!"

the difference is people are doing these things, they have just found smarter and cheaper ways to do them and the businesses that fail to adapt die out and blame the customer on the way out.

Our approach was cheap wedding, awesome honeymoon.

Two of my children are actually going with that option. I completely approve.

That's false advertising.

People getting married opt for smaller, less expensive weddings but nicer honeymoons these days.

And since it's to each other it's the cheapest option all around for sure. Win-win

(you just set it up, so had to be spiked down)
