Yeah, it's weird when you go back and look at them in like '93 or so. Sammy was 47. Dude has always seemed 20 years younger than he is.

Sammy has got to be 77 or 78. He’s a good bit older than David and looks a lot better.

Of all the 80’s hair / metal band front men, DLR is the last one I’d believe had his shite together in 2025.
wut? He's still pretty coked out and sounds like shite. I mean, he was never a great singer but holy shite is he bad now.

Oh, and one of the biggest reasons they kicked him out was that he kept showing up with younger and younger girls. Ole Diamond Dave liked 'em young, I guess.

If that was at the Assembly Center, I was at that show.

That was way better than expected for a live DLR performance.

VH released "Live at the Tokyo Dome" in 2013 with DLR, and it was so awful I could not believe they thought it was a good idea to allow the public to hear it.

I lost my virginity while Van Halen II was playing. Made it all the way to track 3 "Outta Love Again". She was a sweetheart about the 5 or so mins it took.

No one will ever make me hate Diamond Dave.

It's Van Halen not Van Hagar.

It’s amazing DLR or Sammy are still at it. However, Sammy is still killing it. I saw him last year and he was bad arse …at age 77!

I prefer DLR as the VH frontman, but Sammy is really impressive at his age.

The band sounds decent but DLR can't carry a tune in a bucket. He was never a great vocalist to begin with even back in his glory years.

Mine as well. I was 9 and my 15 year old cousin took me. It was at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh. Times we're certainly different.
