So every kid that hit puberty at a young age was sexually abused? That's ridiculous.

Who's saying every instance of early puberty is definitely abuse related?

It can be related to a handful of causes, early sexualization being one

Well, smoking can cause cancer but it doesn't mean all cancer patients are smokers. Your post seems to insinuate that these kids were molested which I highly doubt in most cases.

Man, that’s some scientific terminology there!

BMI is a better indicator for early onset of menstruation. It’s one of the reasons that women who are in intense training for athletics don’t have a regular cycle.

Whole bunch of dads who've been letting Disney channel raise their kids up in'yere- in denial about their little princesses being rushed into puberty by an oversexualized culture

frick all the down voters. This guy has an 11 year old daughter catching her period. That’s traumatic. Probably doesn’t have anywhere else to go to discuss it.

I feel bad for the guy.

I went through that not that long ago with my kid. It's not exactly the most comfortable subject for most men but I was a bit surprised by the flack too.

Are you a kid diddler? Because you seem very fixated on this.

Are you a kid diddler? You seem to have an aggressive interest in denying that children are affected negatively by premature sexualization

Seemed like a random thing to bring up about some guy's preteen getting her period. I'm sure Disney channel didn't have anything to do with it.

A quick review of your posting history indicates at least 25 posts related to underage girls in the past 2 days. You seem extremely fixated on the issue.

So you are saying my kid watching the occasional Disney show has ALTERED HER PHYSICAL BODY and caused her bodily system to change their behavior?

To the rest of the O-T. I was ok with the conversation up until now. But the fact that my thread has caused this crazy person to post this crap, and expose all of you to it... I am very sorry for that.

Don't know or want to know anything about YOUR KID, but I find it highly amusing that you would have such an incredulous reaction upon learning that sensory input elicits bodily reactions

"NOW HOLD UP ONE DAGNABBED MINUTE THERE--- do YOU mean to INSINUATE that SIGHTS and SOUNDS induce PHYSICAL RESPONSES from the BODY!?!? WELL AH NEVER in ALL mUH LIFE!"
