I'm 37. My girlfriend is 23 (24 in a few months). I've dated a few younger girls, but nothing serious. This one is different. She has her shite together, doesn't like to party, already has a career, and she loves my sons.

It seems like the age thing is bothering you. Neither her or I think about it. All her friends think I'm hot, so they are jealous. As for her family, they all like me. She was in a long term relationship with a pos. They know I'm a good man, and I'll take care of her.

She is already asking me about marriage.

When I was 25 I dated a 19 y/o. She was moving off to a different college so we broke up. A month later I started dating a 34 y/o, we got married and almost 10 years later still married. The 19 y/o was very mature though.

4 months she's legally an adult in all respects.

As someone else said if you're still together in 20 years, shoot in 5 years it won't seem terribly important.

If she was under 20 I can see where you would have done concerns. But by now you should have learned not to really give a shite what anyone else thinks if you both are happy with this (and she's almost 21)

Like not in the service industry or your regular college job. It actually has to do with her career path and whatnot.

I'm 18 and my GF is 12. It's cool. That's only 6 years difference.

She’s over 18. She’s an adult. She and you are fully capable of making adult decisions. Besides, you are 31. It’s not that weird. I know several couple that are happily married who started off in the same shoes.
Have fun being with a 20 year old.
