Denise Austin has a 20 minute workout video on YouTube with like 10 million views, you could do it together. It’s all about moving the whole body. I’ve done it probably 60 times over the years.

Ultimate fat burning workout

Try asking him what he wants

I did. It took a while but he finally turned the corner into watching the sports he likes to play on tv and YouTube. I told him that it could possibly make him better and he’s interested. He practices a lot and wants to get better. I have the means to help him anyway I can.

Not to be a dick but if he’s uncoordinated I doubts he’s much of an athlete.

Like saying you’re a great singer but mostly tone deaf.

I added the link, I also overestimated the views, it’s about 10 million but it’s the one I’ve watched the most.

There are other people doing it with her at varied levels of intensity. That could help him work his way up.

I hope your son fulfills all of the athletic failures you endured as a child. You deserve it.

Do gymnastics instead. Way better for developing core strength and coordination.

My son is 8. Decent athlete, but still has no great control over his body. Thinking about taking him out off of sports for a year and putting him into dance so he can learn coordination and footwork. Could help him immensely. Have any of you had any luck with this?

This seems insane to me and I bet your son has a "travel ball" name.

Let the boy do what he enjoys and give him time to be clumsy and grow out of it.

The odds that Braxston is going to the MLB isn't great. Let him have fun instead of being a psycho parent that forces him into things he doesn't want to do.

Hold him back 3 or 4 years. He will be WAY more coordinated than 8 YO’s when he’s 12. Get that’s scholly!

so the dance classes couldnt hurt with gaining a little bit of hip function, and having rhythm will be beneficial socially as he ages.

It could help...but why would you take him out of sports in the mean time?

Also, is he going to be interested in it? Is he going to understand why he should do that?

It’s not about that. His college is already paid for and we focus on academics more than sports. He wants to be better and puts in the work. I just want to help him further.

You’ll have yourself to blame in 15 years when he’s using words like fabulous and loves to shop.
