Shouldn't have to teach them. Just give him a ball. Work on actual mechanics around 9 or 10

Around age 3 he was throwing tennis balls and soft foam balls. Around 4 we moved to baseballs and tee balls. At 5 I started making him throw weighted baseballs and tennis balls filled with pennies to get his arm stronger. He’s 7 now and has a cannon. His right arm is so much more developed than everything else. Looks goofy as hell and he kind of walks crooked, but he can out throw all the other kids.

He would be better off, the odds of making a living as a musician while dismal are still better than him ever making a dime as a pro ball player.

You don't need to make it about baseball. Do it with rolled up paper or soft objects inside. It's not hard.

It'll come in due time. Just make sure he doesn't do a lot of standing around during t-ball practices. Most will lose interest when that happens.

My bad, misunderstood. And don't have a toddler. Chalk it up to ignorance on multiple levels for me.
