Cheaper than a fully decked-out Ford F150.

It's a hideous vehicle. No idea why tesla went with that ridiculous body style. The Tesla cars are good looking vehicles.

Because he sketched it out on a dinner napkin and then posted it to twitter where people went nuts.

I'm out at that price range. I'm not paying $80k for any vehicle. Hell, that 2024 Sante Fe looks nice

Seems like there's a lot of disappointment among the Tesla faithful over the 50-60% price increase above what was originally promised with mediocre range across the board.

You can get a range extender battery pack but it'll take up 1/3 of the bed.

The videos of it pulling the sled and then out running a 911 in the quarter mile while pulling a 911 on a trailer were impressive and entertaining.

Went and saw it here in Tampa at the Tesla store at International Plaza.

It actually looks better than I thought in person. The front window is frickin huge and has 1 wiper that covers it. It’s kinda odd to have a truck with such a small 1 single screen in the middle.

It’s very utilitarian is look for sure. After market mods may do some wonders for the overall look.

NGL I kinda like it, but prob will never own one

Charging

Here, you can learn about charging your EV. You can do it over night, if not, no problem.. Do it at work.. Because how many places have charging stations. On vacation? For 15 mins you can get 200 miles and its less than gas..

What if you are running low, you get to work, plug it in and some idiot is having a bad day and decides to just unplug your shite for no reason? It would suck to find out the hard way the charger you are using went bad.

They just had some loser “throw” a baseball at the window to redo the infamous window smashing demonstration from 4 years ago. Big difference is the original demonstration used a metal ball

Never heard exactly what the windows are made of, but I figured the were just the double paned armored windows that have been on an S-Class for decades. They will take a beating, but never really breakthrough, just shatter

The charge cable is locked to the car if you lock the car, the only issue is if you are using an adaptor it only locks the adaptor on but I think they have lock rings for that if you want to buy them. If the charger were to shite the bed with the car hooked up you would get a charging interrupted notice on your phone.

It doesn't mean things like that wouldn't be a PITA but it is unlikely you come back 8 hours later and your car got no charge without you knowing it.

I like how he refers to one of Tesla's top engineers as a loser though

That dude is probably more successful than anyone on this entire forum

I imagine there's an app to show that the vehicle is charging.

Google findmyelectric.com. You can put in your reservation number and such and it will give you a date. I'm like Oct 2024.
