In their defense who could have known that doubling the labor cost for a fast food restaurant would cause them to raise the price of their food?

Why did their net revenue go up by 20% then?

Net. As in after costs were taken out.

Whats the proper and non proper way?

Bro a graph can show if its proper or not, why not just provide me a site and I'll use its data and admit if I'm wrong or not using it?

Right. I actually know people who believe prices are just arbitrarily set and have no idea of all the inputs that goin. Hell, I dont know all the inputs, but enough to realize its not arbitrary..

No, I specifically want to look at the data you guys look at to determine if corporations properly raise prices to combat inflation. What site(s) do you use?

Goggle and pick one. For someone that is such a condescending prick, you shouldn't need such hand holding. Hell, for how you acted in this thread, you should already know all this stuff.

The truth is you aren't interested in learning anything.

No. I simply want to determine if companies are using inflation as a guise to price gouge consumers.

Still waiting on a specific resource to do so from you guys.

Ah, now who is fricking ducking who?

You'd think someone as astute as yourself would have one fricking site to help someone learn, and I've literally stated "maybe I'm wrong" on this very thread, yet you refuse to help, which makes you shitty, but hey, we already knew that about you.

Answer this question for me. If a company can just increase their profits by charging more for their product, why don't they just charge $1,000 per cheeseburger?

Responding to you and telling you what to do isn't ducking you, You're mad that I will not do all the work for you.

Coincidentally, the dollar is worth 81% of what it was in 2020.

Dude, I'm not getting into a rudimentary conversation on pricing. I know it's based on market demand. I'm literally asking for a source. Any fricking source. And still have not been given one

If there is a choice, no one is being gouged.

Is it your opinion they have no choice but to purchase McDonalds? Whats the industry trend?

Have you considered that maybe if you hadn't been such an a-hole earlier in the thread, people might take your phony attempt to learn something seriously?

IF my stupid arse could figure it out, what's stopping you Plenty of people have answered you, you're now just doing the usual "I just need one link" nonsense to ignore all the answers in this thread that don't agree with you.

To add to this, minimum wage is increasing in several states. California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill in October that would increase minimum wage for fast food workers to $20/hour by April 1, 2024. And many fast food chains like McDonald’s are using this as an opportunity to increase their prices once again

User @WeBeatPokemon started a thread on Reddit that's garnering some attention: "Everyone needs to boycott McDonald's after price hike," they wrote. "$3.59 for a McChicken sandwich is criminal. Up in Malta it is $1.89. We all need to come together and boycott... It's a slap in the face to the community. Do they think they're fine dining? We can't let them keep raising the price. 3 years ago, a McChicken was $1.00. I'm sorry but people's wages haven't gone up 300%."

I hate the trend of writing articles based on the opinions of a select group of people on social media or a message board.

The article should be titled "Random guy on Reddit pissed off about McDonald's prices"

and its not really a boycott, if you think something is priced unreasonably high, then don't fricking buy it.
