Current mood not right...

I am not a tinfoil kind of guy but you could not write a better plan for destabilizing, debasing and demoralizing a country than what has happened in 2020.
We have destroyed the concept of individual rights. We have neutered or allowed to be neutered many of the folks who most want to defend our country. We have allowed our heroes to be destroyed. Lots of these heroes were flawed as are we all but we have allowed ALL of their contributions be ignored to appease our new priests of the temple of syrinx who have used Covid-19 and George Floyd to accomplish unrelated goals they have sought for decades.
Yes, we had a problem with police in this country but the solution we are taking is like taking cyanide to cure cancer.

I know what you mean. But will future generations know? I never saw our founding fathers as perfect. But they created a road where we could move toward it. They admitted with the way they wrote the Constitution that they did not know everything and that it could be improved. The progressives just blew that road up.

It's the censure of history that is utterly disturbing. It is part of who we are as a country, it should always be embraced and examined.

Hero may have been the wrong word. Too much bourbon to get it right. But make no mistake. Every founding father and President in most of American history is on their hitlist.
