You absolutely have a choice on which vaccine you get.

I work in healthcare although on the administrative side. We don't offer both. Only received the Pfizer vaccine. We are one of the 10 largest employers in the state so it's not a small business or anything.

This past Thursday. Only thing I really noticed was my arm was slightly more sore than with a traditional flu shot.

I was a little sleepy yesterday too. But I attribute that more to the 18 hours of straight rain.

Your employer forced you to take their vaccine? You have a choice of 3 vaccines, go take which ever one you want if they require you to take one. My wife works in the LCMC system and they are administering J&J and Pfizer. If she wanted Moderna all she had to do is find someone giving those

I got mine at the grocery store and had a choice between Pfizer and Maderna.

No. I still haven't gotten it although I've had the option to for quite some time. It's not mandatory, yet. But we only offer the Pfizer

It gave Mrs SpotCheck a rough day too. She survived, but her arm still hurts.

I haven’t gotten one either. Don’t plan on it. If everyone else gets it what’s the point for me to get it?

I've already had the Rona so I figured I'd wait and see for a bit. I'm not an anti vaxer or anything but not really in a hurry to get it either.

Your wife needs better information. Moderna has been available for about 6 or 8 weeks at New Orleans East Hospital and at the Convention Center for a week or two. Both managed by LCMC.

I think the Convention Center mass vaccination site was originally opened with the intention of giving J&J. But after 2 or 3 days... no more J&J. So they've been giving Pfizer and Moderna on alternating days. Dont know if it's a J&J production problem or a Federal or State distribution decision.

I still had COVID antibodies from when I had it in October, and the first Moderna shot was way worse for nearly 48 hours than any part of having the actual virus. I might not survive the freaking second shot.

Sore arm for about 24 hours after my first dose of Pfizer.

Not as sore of an arm after 2nd dose, but it lasted about 3 days. Mild headache that evening and a little fatigue for a day or two. Beats a severe case of COVID.

Good luck with your vaccine tomorrow.
