How does one afford one bitcoin at its current price? Boat has been missed it seems. I could kick my own arse for reading those bitcoin threads back in the day and scoffing.

Which I have done on Robinhood. Not sure what that represents for me long term, but there was a small amount spent.

Do not buy on robinhood. There is no way to transfer your tokens to a private wallet. Buy on an exchange that allows you to transfer your tokens to a wallet of your choice.
Or, if you're not interested in self custody, just buy into one of the BTC ETFs. Those are safer plays than bullshite Robinhood.
