Slower time than normal for me. I did eat a doughnut and drink some beer when I knew I wasn't gonna PR so there's that.

Kinda bummed on the whole corral deal...couldn't ever get in clean air.

Was there really 25K+ this year?

I heard 28K were there.

Also, really happy about the $500,000 raised for charity. That is awesome!!

Great Race today. Quick lines for food, beers, bathrooms. And Ainsley's Angels group was recognized with a special early start!

What's the cutoff for a poster now-a-days? sub 42?

I dunno if it's the corrals or what, but they have fixed the stroller problem. I started in D, finished in about 50 minutes and didn't encounter a single stroller. I remember when the first two miles was just a total cluster frick of brat-mobiles...

First race in 10 years, finished sub 52, kind of excited. I enjoyed the venue, but I don't have anything to compare...

Congrats to all the runners

Sub 45

That's pretty fast but definitely attainable. For whatever reason it's always been on my bucket list to get a poster.

If you have an iPhone you can download the crescent city classic app for results

According to the app there were 17,000 finishers

A lot of dumbasses missed the mile markers though. A couple of the mile markers were at spots were there was contraflow. I saw at least 100 people myself stay in their lane and not go through the checkpoint thus eliminating themselves.

To get the poster you had to run through every mile chip?

54:53 with a bad hamstring.(7 minutes off last year) Corrals were a cluster frick. The race is ok, After party makes the day so much better. They did have some cool merchandise. I bought a yellow drifit shirt at the expo that is nice. Since I almost got run over running the LSU Lakes last week....... by a biker.
NYC 1/2 is the best race I've done this year and Louisana 1/2 marathon best after party this year.

I thought those were just for pace purposes...as long as you get the start and finish...you're confirmed?

I know you have to do a few of them. Especially the 5 mile one so you don't cross over in front of NOMA

My chip didn't register at mile 4. Ran a sub 51 minute race. Good time with good friends.

Ya. But the 1 mile and the 5 mile are the only ones on the course that are across both sides of the street. So that makes sense.

Not from any race I've seen. It's to ensure you're not running shortcuts.
