Creepy old pervs hitting on teenagers at Perkins Rowe

About a year ago I went to pick up my teenage daughter from Barnes and Noble. As I pulled up I noticed a older man, about 70, speaking to my my daughter. As soon as she saw me she ran to the car. She told me he wanted her to go out on a date with him. Tried to find him but he dissapeared.
Last night I went to pick up my niece and her friend from the same spot. They got into the car and said an man about 55 yo was trying to get them to take ride with him. Called police but he was already gone.
I'm sure it not isolated to a Perkins Rowe but my kids will never go back.
Those with younger kids please be careful

How old are your daughter and niece?
If they are entertaining the conversation maybe they are too young to be left alone.

at 16, I'd hope they'd be smart enough not to go for a "ride" with a stranger. Also hope they'd be able to handle the advances of a member of the opposite sex. If your that worried chaperone them. Otherwise, let them go face the big cruel world alone and learn how to handle it.
