re: Craziest things you've seen while driving

Driving on I-12 east to Florida for vacation, passing through the Tillman’s Corner area in Alabama. I like driving fast so was going between 90-95, moderate traffic.

I see some commotion behind me in the rearview mirror, cars jerking all over and then some bombed out looking late 90s Yukon, brown with some black panels, shite like partially ripped trim hanging off, comes barreling through weaving sharply driving about as aggressive as possible without just crashing, blowing black smoke behind it.

It looked like it could just explode any second or at least blow a rod but it was gettin it, going about 100-110. Blew right past me. I sped up for a few miles just to watch it from a safe distance out of morbid curiosity, maybe to see if it crashed or did explode. But it was out of sight before too long. It looked so shitty but drove so hard it almost looked like it was deliberately made to look shitty for some reason, like some apocalypse vehicle. Never exploded.

Another occasion also on I-10 I did see a convoy of 6-8 vehicles coming from the opposite direction, and these were in fact modified to look like Mad Max (the original or the remake) with a mix of all kinds of crazy shite on them. No idea.

Driving towards Metry on the Causeway, saw a guy shaving.

Using shaving cream.

I was on a 4 lane highway ,road was wet from recent rain.Come to a red light cars ,stopped in both lanes,old guy on a Harley tries to stop in the left lane behind a car.His rear wheel went out from under him,crashed to the pavement, the Harley bounced back up,straightened itself and took off down middle of the highway with no rider.Went between the 2 cars in front of him without touching either.As it went down the highway it started going slower and veered off to the right shoulder and rolled over in the ditch.Damned motorcycle went couple hundred yards.
In Rota Spain I was stopped at a red light ,a guy on a brand new Honda 750 was first in line at the light.He was revving the hell out of the motor,light turned green he pops the clutch and flies off the back.The motorcycle takes off down the street ,sideswipes 3 parked cars and runs into the back of another parked and flips up onto the trunk and broke out the back glass on the car.The Honda had something like 18 miles on it.
Another motorcycle story,again in Rota.I was on Shore Patroll and we were working a wreck a few miles from base involving a sailor.A car stopped,driver all excited hollering about a guy on a Moped got run over by a car.My partner outranked me and told me to go see about it.I didn’t really want to see it but away I go.I come to a car in a ditch and a crumpled up Moped in the road but nobody lying in the road.There was a small crowd gathered around so I asked where was the driver of the Moped.Someone told me it was the Spanish Marine that had his back turned to me.I went up to him,their uniform was blue pants with a white tunic.He turned around and he had a perfect tire print from the car diagonally across his chest.He looked pale but he said he wasn’t hurt.I tried to take him to the hospital to get checked out but he refused,he was Spanish so I couldn’t make him go.

Driving I-20 between Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. Late afternoon but still plenty of daylight left. This large, obese black woman was taking a shite in the grass median between the lanes. Her husband seemed like he was trying to shield her a little bit but damn that's where you stop?

Drove up on a work truck stopped in the middle lane of a 5 lane highway. Roll by and there is a sheet on the ground with two feet sticking out. Guy must have jumped off the overpass.

Was behind a pickup with a German Shepherd in the back of it tied to the bed rack on Hwy 23 coming back from fishing in Empire.

Dog jumped out and practically hung its self... People driving noticed pretty quickly and pulled over asap. Other than a skinned arse, dog was ok...

Saw a lady driving with her mask on alone in her car. Yet she was eating. She would take off her mask to bite and then put it back on.
