Oh frick off, dipshit. You know what I'm saying.

Crawfish farmers have excuses every year. And yes, there will be one next year too. Bookmark this thread and get back to me, bitch.

Once again the same people (wholesalers/restaurants)go on the news every year and spew that. They do not speak for 99% of farmers. It’s not my fault you believe everything on the news.

I moved to Massachusetts, and live next to a small river( more akin to a large brook). The crawfish I pull out of my traps are the freaking size of small lobsters, I guess coz no one up here eats them?

Anyway, screw $8/lb that’s nuts!

The crawfish basically don’t move with the cold water.

So I’m guessing we will set a new record high price by middle of next week. LOL

The farmers just need to accept they are a tOT meme.

They have enough chance of changing the narrative as they do convincing tOT that:

1. 350 isn't the answer to every math problem

2. No riverboat pilot ever got their job by anything other than nepotism

3. Truck nuts aren't the most accurate indication of oil prices

4. The Germans didn't bomb Pearl Harbor

5. Walt isn't Tigergirl10

Were the restaurants open?

The only time they were that cheap was when restaurants weren't open and the only people buying them were the general public

Okay if you want to play that game that restaurants were closed. Last year during Holy Week it was $1.05lb the busiest week of crawfish season

I was checking the crawfish App this morning and two seafood shacks within 15 miles of me finally have some boiled crawfish.
$7.99 at one place and $8.99 at the other as of their yesterday price update.
Based on the information earlier in this thread, I’m kind of surprised they are this cheap.
